Faculty
The College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health (CVMNAH) at Tuskegee University enjoys the legacy of this prestigious university where history was made by Booker T. Washington, George Washington Carver, and others. That history is enriched by the discoveries of today’s faculty engaging, students and trainees in interdisciplinary research programs ranging from infectious diseases to cancer.
The CVMNAH was reorganized in 1995 to reflect the importance of its strategic direction emphasizing “One Health — One Medicine” concept for understanding disease. Our faculty’s work reflects the emphasis of this strategic direction in seeking to understand human disease through veterinary medicine, and alternative approaches.
The CVMNAH junior, senior and emerging faculty, engage in team work across disciplines, between colleges, nationally and internationally with exchange in over 25 countries. Tuskegee faculty shares the legacy of its founder, understand the sacrifice of those before us, and strive for greatness to continue the tradition, to enrich the legacy, and pass on the values of that legacy to the next care takers of academic pursues — our students. |
