Grading System
Tuskegee University and hence its units use a grade point average system abbreviated to two decimal places. Alphabetical grades and their corresponding grade point values are as follows:
A-Excellent 4 grade points per credit hour
B-Good 3 grade points per credit hour
C-Average 2 grade points per credit hour
D-Poor 1 grade point per credit hour
E-Failure 0 grade point per credit hour
Y-Unofficial drop/withdrawal — 0 grade point per credit hour
W-Withdrawal Not included in GPA computation
I-Incomplete Not included in GPA computation
The grading system for non-credit courses is as follows:
S - Satisfactory
U - Unsatisfactory
I - Incomplete
