The Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine’s (TUCVM) Office of External Affairs is here to serve you. Established in 1995, the Office of External Affairs has continued its relations, efforts to increase exposure, and efforts to increase funding through alumni giving and support from other friends of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Currently, we are a two-person office. “Friend-raising“ is important to us. Our goal is to increase the visibility of the School and encourage friends to want to be significant stakeholders of TUCVM. Public relations efforts are directed at not only the public’s perception of the School, but also the goodwill felt by the School’s faculty, students, staff, and alumni. Communications from the Office of External Affairs focuses on maintaining an open and responsive posture with the TUCVM alumni and the Tuskegee Veterinary Medical Alumni Association (TVMAA), reestablishing relationships with ”lost” alumni, and the cultivation of people with an interest in animals and in public health.
Through our efforts of ”friend-raising” we hope to encourage alumni and friends of the school, to inform us of possible financial donors, any ”news worthy” items like your personal accomplishments, and marketing/public relations ideas or avenues. We are truly good listeners and encourage your input.
Should you need to contact our office for any reason, please feel free to do so. We have an open-door policy and would love to hear from YOU!
