4. Nerve Supply
The stomach is innervated by parasympathetic fibers from the dorsal and ventral vagal trunks, and sympathetic fibers from the sympathetic trunk through the major and minor splanchnic nerves. Both sympathetic and parasympathetic fibers enter into the formation of the celiac and cranial mesenteric plexuses.
