Vision

The Ph.D. Program in Integrative Biosciences (IBS) seeks to provide world-class, interdisciplinary research and education training in the preparation of scientists and
professionals who manifest leadership, scientific excellence and creative service to 21st century society. The program effectively catalyzes and facilitates collaboration, discovery, creativity, transfer of technology and learning in the biosciences. The program is built upon the successes of existing M.S. programs in Agricultural and Resource Economics, Animal and Poultry Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Food and Nutritional Sciences, International Tropical Health, Plant and Soil Sciences, and Veterinary Sciences. The University offers a Ph.D. program in Materials Science and Engineering, and professional programs in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Nursing and Allied Health (Medical Technology and Occupational Therapy).
